CHOReOS was an FP7 project. It is now fully completed. This website is kept open for information purpose only, it is not updated. Please visit CHOReVOLUTION the project that takes over from CHOReOS. Thales (About.Thales)

Thales is a global technology leader for the Aerospace, Space, Defence, Security and Transportation markets. In 2008, the company generated revenues of 12.7 billion Euro with 68,000 employees in 50 countries. With its 25,000 engineers and researchers, Thales has a unique capability to design, develop and deploy equipment, systems and services that meet the most complex security requirements. Expertise brought to CHOReOS

Within Thales Communications S.A., the Software Core for Computer based systems department (SC2) located in Palaiseau (France) has a mission to study and provide middleware solutions for future Thales systems and is acting for the whole Thales group. With CHOReOS, SC2 leverages its contribution to European projects on large scale dynamic systems such as S4ALL (Service for All, ITEA2), SEMEASY (SEmantic makes Middleware EASY, Leader, ITEA2), SemEUsE (Semantic Bus of Services, ANR), ITEmIS (IT and Embedded Systems, ANR) and CONNECT (FP7/FET).

Contribution to CHOReOS

Thales brings to CHOReOS its knowledge of industrials requirements through its business domain experts and its understanding of large scale system integration. More precisely, THA endeavours the implementation of the choreography projection to component-based systems (SCA), participates to the global integration of CHOReOS components and assume most of the “Passenger-friendly airport” use case. THA undertake also the lead of the project which allows a complete grasp of the subject
during project’s lifetime.
